Ryan Acton is a cultural and intellectual historian. He focuses on how culture and the market shaped each other in the twentieth-century United States. He is also interested in the history of class, business, meritocracy, and higher education. Ryan’s book project is a history of Harvard Business School. He received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015.
