Brenno Kenji Kaneyasu’s research and teaching focus on the intersection of 19th and 20th century Brazilian and Spanish American literatures, aesthetics, and the theoretical triad of philosophy, law, and political theory.
His current research interests include the essay and experimental narratives in Brazil and Argentina; the relation between Critical Theory, rhetoric, and aesthetics; and the theory of fiction as it relates to political representation and the formation of discourses of authority.
