Alex Dubilet is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Religious Studies at Vanderbilt University. As of August 2016, he will be a Lecturer in the Departments of English and Political Science at Vanderbilt University. He works across the fields of contemporary continental philosophy, philosophy of religion, history of Christianity, political theology, political theory, and critical study of secularism. He is currently finishing a book for Fordham University Press entitled Kenosis of the Subject and the Immanence of Life. He is a co-translator into English (with Jessie Hock) of François Laruelle’s General Theory of Victims (Polity Press, 2015) and A Biography of Ordinary Man: Of Authorities and Minorities (Polity Press, Under Contract).
